Introduction

At Skein (Skein Digital Ventures LLC, the Company, "we", "us", or "our"), we strive to provide high-quality web development services to our clients. We understand that there may be occasions where you are not completely satisfied with our services. This Refund and Dispute Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued and how disputes will be handled.

Payments

All payments and financial transactions for our services are conducted in United States Dollars (USD) only. By engaging our services, you agree to make payments in USD.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our services, which involve significant time and resources, refunds will only be issued under the following conditions:

  • Project Cancellation: If a project is canceled by the client before any work has commenced, a full refund will be issued.
  • Incomplete Deliverables: If Skein fails to deliver the agreed-upon deliverables within the specified timeframe without a valid reason, a partial refund may be considered based on the amount of work completed.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after the project has commenced.
  • Delays caused by client actions or inactions.
  • Requests for services outside the original scope of the project.
  • Work that has been completed and delivered as per the agreed specifications.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we are committed to resolving the issue in a fair and timely manner. The following steps outline our dispute resolution process:

  1. Initial Communication: The client should contact us with detailed information about the dispute within 14 days of the issue arising.
  2. Review: We will review the dispute and respond within 7 business days with our findings and proposed resolution.
  3. Negotiation: We will work with the client to negotiate a mutually acceptable resolution. This may include revising the work, offering additional services, or providing a partial refund.
  4. Mediation: If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, the dispute may be referred to mediation, with both parties agreeing to participate in good faith.
